The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong Un lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pereira avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pereira is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

and Jong Un counters with a stiff right hand.
Jong Un bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pereira's head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pereira shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
