The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Merry closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Morbius wants to get back to full guard.

Morbius is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Merry pulls his head out easily.
Merry is trying to control the action in half guard but Morbius is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Merry might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Morbius haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Morbius wants to improve his position but Merry is controlling well.

Morbius has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Merry. Oh but Morbius has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Merry goes limp - he's gone! Morbius jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
