PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Vance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Chat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chat clinches.

Vance has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Chat clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
I would not like to be Chat right now.

Vance cracks Chat with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Chat from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Vance is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Chat defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
You can see the frustration on Chat's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Vance really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Chat.

Vance has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Chat has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Vance goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Chat has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vance but great work by Chat.

Vance has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chat uses from the top position.
