Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holden Easterly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Holden Easterly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sammy Boyd!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Easterly misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boyd.
Easterly throws a nice looking combination but Boyd bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boyd tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Easterly defends well and Boyd ends up having to push Easterly into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and Easterly counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Easterly wants to control but Boyd is keeping him busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Easterly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Boyd is trying to control the position but Easterly postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Easterly tries to free his leg and advance position but Boyd is retaining full guard.
Easterly is looking to work some ground and pound but Boyd has wrist control.

And Boyd tries to counter it with a takedown but Easterly pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Boyd drops back, looking for a kneebar! Easterly looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Easterly looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Easterly!

Boyd cracks Easterly with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Boyd immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Easterly is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Boyd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sammy Boyd!
During a confident post fight interview, Sammy Boyd thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
