The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messie tries to bum rush Nazaryan with a series of wild strikes but Nazaryan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nazaryan defending well as Messie loads up on a big left hand.
Messie scores with a hook to the body. Nazaryan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Messie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Messie both land. Nice combination.
Messie lands with an overhand left.
Messie lands a right hook to the body.
Messie throws a right hand that Nazaryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Nazaryan also avoids with ease.

Nazaryan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nazaryan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Messie swivels and escapes.
Messie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Messie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nazaryan moves away.
Nazaryan feinted with a counter takedown.
Messie dodges the punch combination from Nazaryan.
Messie swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Messie jabs Nazaryan to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A jab from Messie misses.
Messie lands a glancing blow to the side of Nazaryan's head.
Messie wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nazaryan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Messie lands a big right hand that sends Nazaryan crashing to the mat! Messie stays standing though and waves Nazaryan back to his feet!
