Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ingram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Cain is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Ingram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Cain!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain misses with a wild combination.

Ingram moves into the clinch.

Ingram is trying to trip Cain. He has hold of a leg but Cain is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ingram persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Ingram trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ingram throwing strikes from guard but Cain blocks nicely.
Cain is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cain is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ingram throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cain works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ingram. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ingram lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ingram won't allow Cain to get back to his feet.
Cain is wriggling around but Ingram manages to pass to half guard.
Cain is trying to stand.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ingram stops Cain from getting back to his feet.
Ingram is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Ingram takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Cain is trying to stand back up but Ingram is controlling him
Ingram works his way into side control.
Cain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ingram scoring with punches and elbows.
Cain is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Cain is trying to escape the position but Ingram is controlling the position.
Ingram in side control lands a decent elbow.
Ingram landing strikes.
Cain taking punishment in the form of punches.
Ingram in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Cain tries to escape but Ingram is in control.
Ingram is putting a hurting on Cain here, landing some big shots from side control.

Ingram looks up at the clock and then as Cain takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ingram smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ingram working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Cain is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ingram is controlling him well.
Ingram passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Cain!
Ingram takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Cain's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ingram lands with some strikes.
Cain wants to get back to his feet.
Ingram with shots to the head and body - Cain looks very uncomfortable down there.
Ingram with a couple of short strikes.
Cain is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Ingram connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ingram won't let Cain get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
BOOM! Ingram connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Cain is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ingram lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Ingram looking to control and managing it successfully.

Ingram is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Cain is forced to tap! Great finish!
