Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ottis Toole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Shanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toole comes to the cage accompanied by Sexy and I Know It by LMFAO. Ottis Toole has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ottis Toole!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey Shanks!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shanks throws an off balance right hand
and Toole counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Toole fails with a takedown attempt.
Shanks throws a nice inside leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Shanks.
Shanks misses with the body kick

and Toole counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shanks trying to control the position.
Toole lands a couple of digs.
Toole wants to control from the top but Shanks keeps moving.
Toole is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Toole wants to pass the guard but Shanks is keeping the position.

Toole content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Shanks is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Toole will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shanks is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Toole with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shanks keeping moving, preventing Toole from controlling successfully.
Toole engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Toole looking to sit in guard and control but Shanks gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Shanks would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Toole wants to sweep here but Shanks controlling him for the moment.

Toole is looking for a triangle but Shanks pushes his legs off easily.
Toole lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Toole trying to control but Shanks is working from the bottom.
Toole throws a big right hand that misses.
Shanks looking to control.
Shanks looking to hit a scissor sweep but Toole is one step ahead there.

Shanks preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Toole has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Toole throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shanks works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Toole is looking to work some ground and pound but Shanks has wrist control.
Shanks is trying to keep Toole in close.
Toole pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shanks is keeping the position for now.
Toole loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Toole trying to control but Shanks is working from the bottom.
Shanks pulls Toole in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Toole throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Shanks drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Toole defends it well.
Toole lands with an overhand left.
Toole scores with a decent looking hook.
Shanks throws a nice inside leg kick.
Toole takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Toole looks to land a left hand but Shanks moved out of range nicely.
Toole closes the distance and clinches up with Shanks, looking for a takedown. Toole pushes Shanks against the cage but Shanks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Shanks gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Toole counters with a two punch combo.
Shanks throws a head kick that misses.
Toole throws a body punch but Shanks moves out of range.
Shanks darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Toole missing with a left hand there. Shanks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Toole jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shanks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Toole misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Toole doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Shanks throws a leg kick which misses Toole's front leg but catches the back leg as Toole tries to avoid it.
Toole scores with a one two! Shanks had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Toole is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Shanks slips under a jab from Toole.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Shanks, right into the meat.
Toole shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shanks defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ottis Toole. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shanks tries to work over Toole's front leg with a kick but Toole checks it.
Shanks cracks the inside of Toole's front leg.
Ottis Toole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shanks lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Shanks tried to score with a low kick but Toole checks it.
Toole throws a looping overhand right but Shanks ducks down to avoid it.
Toole is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shanks can do to turn this around?
Toole dives in for a single leg takedown but Shanks sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Toole is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shanks punishes Toole's body with a nice straight punch.
Shanks lets loose with a powerful body kick. Toole will feel that in the morning.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Toole rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shanks counters with an inside leg kick.
Shanks lands a lovely overhand right.


It looks like Ottis Toole has been cut.
Mickey Shanks seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Shanks lands a big head kick that sends Toole tumbling to the mat! Shanks takes a step backwards and waves Toole back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Shanks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shanks wants it to stay on the feet.

Shanks misses with a head kick.
Toole on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Shanks scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Shanks connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Toole shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Shanks throws a hook to the side of Toole's head but Toole sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Toole's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.

Shanks lands a big right hand that sends Toole crashing to the mat! Shanks stays standing though and waves Toole back to his feet!


Toole is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Toole drops his hands momentarily. Shanks doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Toole staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Toole doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mickey Shanks!

After winning the bout, Mickey Shanks thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Ottis Toole had this to say: 'My opponent may have won this time, but I'm going to eat his children. '.
