Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luc Besson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Besson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Besson leaves Rollins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rollins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Besson.
Horrible takedown attempt by Besson or perhaps it was just good defense by Rollins, which made it look bad.

Besson moves into the clinch successfully.
Rollins pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Besson is trying to drag Rollins to the mat but Rollins just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Besson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rollins's efforts to push away.

Besson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Rollins is looking for a sweep.
Besson advances to full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Besson is standing up, even though he is in mount.

Rollins pushes Besson up against the cage in a clinch.
Rollins can't break the clinch.

Besson gets control of Rollins's arms and successfully pulls guard. Besson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Besson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Rollins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Rollins trying to control the position from guard on top but Besson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Besson pulls Rollins in close to his closed guard and prevents Rollins from doing any damage or advancing position.

Rollins wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Besson's closed guard. He's half up but Besson has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Besson pivots and extends the arm, Rollins falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Besson! Well done that man!
