The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nig has closed the distance and engaged Panchenko in a clinch.
Panchenko goes for a takedown attempt but Nig pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Panchenko darts in looking for a takedown but Nig gets double underhooks and turns Panchenko into the cage.
Panchenko tries a head kick but it misses.
Nig connects with a looping right hand.

Nig closes the distance and clinches.
Panchenko goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nig prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anton Panchenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Panchenko is trying to pull guard but Nig has him pressed against the cage.
Panchenko pushes off an throws an elbow but Nig leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Panchenko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nig avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Nig lands with a right to the head.

Panchenko is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nig to keep the fight standing.
Nig works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Panchenko tries to score a body lock takedown but Nig shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Panchenko is breathing heavily.
Nig lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Panchenko backwards.

Nig lands a nice shot to the body.
Nig digs a right hand into Panchenko's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Panchenko's gas tank.

Nig drops Panchenko onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Panchenko is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Nig lands a big right hand that drops Panchenko! The killer instinct kicks in and Nig finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Nig!
