The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Assjacker gets caught napping as Williams dives in and scores a takedown. Assjacker manages to retain guard.

Williams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Assjacker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Assjacker isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Williams stacks Assjacker on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Williams!

Williams feints and as Assjacker raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Assjacker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Williams haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Assjacker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Williams can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Williams slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Assjacker wants to control the position but Williams says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Williams winds up and cracks Assjacker with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Williams is nestled in close to Assjacker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Williams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Assjacker tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Assjacker is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Assjacker has hold of Williams's hands but Williams slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

You can see the frustration on Assjacker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Williams cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams lands a couple of good shots and Assjacker has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
