Davis comes to the cage accompanied by High by Jimmie's Chicken Shack. Ricky Davis is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Joukahainen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Davis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Joukahainen is trying to get back to half guard.
Joukahainen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Joukahainen looks to move to half guard but instead Davis has passed into mount! Damn!
Joukahainen is wriggling around trying to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Joukahainen is on top in guard.
Davis is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Davis wants to control but Joukahainen is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Joukahainen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Davis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Joukahainen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davis keeps working.
