Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Custo Lombardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by Bombs Away by Whole Wheat Bread. Lombardo has chosen The Ripper as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Nelson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lombardo avoids the body shot from Nelson.
Lombardo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nelson swinging wildly here.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lombardo.
Nelson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lombardo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lombardo digs a good body shot into Nelson's ribs.
Lombardo takes a swing at Nelson's ribcage but misses.
Lombardo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nelson circles away quickly and effectively.
Lombardo throws a jab but it's blocked by Nelson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nelson looks to land a combination. Lombardo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Lombardo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nelson looks to land a right hand but Lombardo moved out of range.
Lombardo lands with an uppercut that bounces Nelson off the cage and back into range.
