Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Optimo Primo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Optimo Primo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Doe!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Primo tries to clinch up but Doe circles away and keeps his distance.
Doe moves out of range as Primo throws a body kick.
Primo tries to clinch but Doe moves out of range.

Doe shoots in and bounces Primo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Doe is stalling in the full guard.
Doe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Primo pushes Doe off and gets back to his feet.
Primo fails with the takedown.

Primo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Primo is looking to clinch.
Doe cracks Primo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Primo tries to sprawl but Doe drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Doe wants to pass the guard but Primo is defending well.
Doe keeps trying to improve his position.
Still in half guard, Doe seems content to control.
Primo is trying to control but can't.
Primo is looking to improve his position.

Doe is looking for a kimura but Primo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Doe to get the leverage.

Doe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Primo keeps working.
Primo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Primo.
Doe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Primo is keeping the position for now.
Doe trying to move into half guard but instead Primo has managed to sweep!

Primo is looking to work some ground and pound but Doe has wrist control.
Doe is trying to control the position but Primo postures up.
Primo is looking to stand up but Doe won't let him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Primo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Doe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Primo wants to stand but Doe is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Primo throwing strikes from guard but Doe blocks nicely.
Primo trying to control but Doe is working from the bottom.
Primo is really struggling to control Doe but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Doe clinches up against the cage.
Doe has Primo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Primo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Doe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Doe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Primo defends it nicely.
Doe looks winded!
Primo tries to clinch up but Doe circles away and keeps his distance.
It seemed like Doe was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Primo is looking to clinch but Doe is avoiding it.
Primo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Primo throws a head kick but Doe moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but John Doe will probably get the nod.

Primo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Doe pinned against the cage. Doe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Primo dives in and grabs Doe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doe pushes down on Primo's head and hops out.
Optimo Primo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doe gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Doe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Primo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Primo keeping full guard, as Doe tries to pass.

Primo has his feet on Doe's thighs here. He's pushed Doe off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Doe screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
