The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez looks to land a combination. Hood sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Hood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vasquez as he jumps to the side.
Timothy Hood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hood tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vasquez swivels and escapes.
Vasquez throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Vasquez throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Vasquez - that will leave a mark!
Hood looks winded!
Vasquez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Vasquez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vasquez lands a brutal head kick. Hood looks out on his feet and Vasquez throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
