The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeoi avoids the head kick by bangcaya.
bangcaya misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
bangcaya tries a head kick but it misses.
bangcaya throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Takeoi.
bangcaya throws a sloppy head kick and Takeoi moves out of range easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
bangcaya lands with a kick to the temple. Takeoi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

bangcaya rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takeoi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Takeoi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from bangcaya - the referee stops the clock and Takeoi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says bangcaya. Takeoi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
bangcaya throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Horrible takedown by Takeoi or perhaps it was just good defense by bangcaya which made him look bad.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

bangcaya is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

bangcaya throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

bangcaya shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than bangcaya was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
bangcaya wants to stand but Takeoi is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Takeoi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Takeoi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

bangcaya is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

bangcaya is looking to stand up but Takeoi isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takeoi drops back looking for a leg! bangcaya is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and bangcaya manages to kick Takeoi off! Takeoi jumps back into bangcaya's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
bangcaya wants to stand and escape but Takeoi is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
bangcaya moves in looking to clinch but Takeoi pushes him off.

bangcaya fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Takeoi sprawls well initially but bangcaya persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Takeoi is pressing down on bangcaya's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

bangcaya drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. bangcaya seems to have locked his on tight now - Takeoi screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for bangcaya, as he picks up the win!
