The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruptowski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ruptowski wants it to stay on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ruptowski dives in for a single leg takedown but Golden sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It appears Golden was looking to counter with a kick there.
Ruptowski is breathing heavily.

Ruptowski closes the distance and clinches.
Ruptowski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Golden walks away with a smile on his face. Ruptowski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Marc Golden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grigor Ruptowski.

Golden is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ruptowski's half guard.

Ruptowski is kicking away at Golden from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Golden grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Ruptowski trying to push Golden off... Ruptowski taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
