Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aharon Sarkisyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jimenez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sarkisyan can pounce on him.
Sarkisyan throws a leg kick which misses Jimenez's front leg but catches the back leg as Jimenez tries to avoid it.
Sarkisyan thuds his right hand into Jimenez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jimenez has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sarkisyan.
Sarkisyan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jimenez defending well as Sarkisyan loads up on a big left hand.
Jimenez swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Sarkisyan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sarkisyan throws a shot from downtown. Jimenez moves away and avoids it.
Jimenez was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jimenez has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sarkisyan.
Sarkisyan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sarkisyan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Hugo Jimenez has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Jimenez.
Jimenez takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jimenez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sarkisyan.
Sarkisyan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jimenez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A shot to the body from Jimenez misses
enabling Sarkisyan to counter with a crisp jab.
Sarkisyan misses with an uppercut. Jimenez saw that one coming.

A combination from Jimenez does no damage.
Jimenez sets himself, and Sarkisyan steps forward looking for the clinch! Jimenez avoids it this time.
Sarkisyan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jimenez. That did some damage!
Sarkisyan lands a jab.
Jimenez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A left lands for Jimenez.
Sarkisyan lands a jab.
Jimenez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sarkisyan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jimenez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Jimenez swings away with a body shot that misses

and Sarkisyan moves into the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sarkisyan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sarkisyan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jimenez throws out a loose jab but Sarkisyan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sarkisyan has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Jimenez throws a big shot that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sarkisyan lands with an overhand left.
Sarkisyan keeps Jimenez at a distance using the push kick.
Jimenez is breathing heavily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sarkisyan, as that shot connected.

Hugo Jimenez's cut is getting worse.
Jimenez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Jimenez is rocked!
Sarkisyan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oh Jimenez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hugo Jimenez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jimenez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sarkisyan was well out of range. Poor timing from Jimenez.
Sarkisyan scores with a leg kick.
Jimenez seems to have got his legs back now.

Sarkisyan sends Jimenez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sarkisyan is motioning to the referee to let Jimenez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Sarkisyan fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Jimenez square on the jaw! Damn, Jimenez is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
