McCarthy comes into the arena with Paint The Town Green blaring out of the sound system. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from McCarthy. Grivas does a little dance to reset his feet.
A head kick from Grivas lands but McCarthy takes it in his stride.
McCarthy connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
McCarthy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Grivas misses with a body shot

and McCarthy counters with a crisp one two that drops Grivas! McCarthy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Grivas to his feet! Grivas is in big trouble!

Grivas is rocked!
Grivas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McCarthy.
Grivas is still on wobbly legs! Can McCarthy finish him?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McCarthy throws a pinpoint strike between Grivas's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Grivas crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and McCarthy scores a great knockout victory!
