Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Desean Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy War (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson's entrance music is Pick the World Up. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Desean Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy War!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a hook to the side of War's head but War sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jackson waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract War.
War tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
War avoids the body shot from Jackson.
War tries to clinch there but Jackson circles away.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with War but War pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jackson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
War throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jackson misses with a combination
and War counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Desean Jackson has been cut.
Jackson misses with a jab, cross combination.

War gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jackson missing with knees to the body.
Jackson keeps control of War as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
War tries to score a body lock takedown but Jackson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
War jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jackson walks away with a smile on his face. War gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jackson is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
War throws a nice looking combination but Jackson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jab, jab by War - just one landing.

A head kick lands from War that sends Jackson to the canvas. Jackson tries to scramble back to his feet but War brings him back down into side control.


Jackson is rocked!

War stands up and we're back to a striking position.
A combination from War does no damage.
War throws a right and a left that both miss.
War works over Jackson's head and body with a nice combination.


Desean Jackson's cut is getting worse.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackson misses with a straight left.
War changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but War manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Desean Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy War.
War connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
War tries a head kick but it misses.
War throws a series of strikes that have Jackson backpedaling.

and Jackson moves into the clinch.

War wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.

Jackson pushes War off and gets back to his feet.

A decent looking cross lands there for Jackson.
War tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it.

Jackson drives through and clinches with War against the cage.
Jackson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but War pulls him back up using the underhooks.

War tries to move into range but Jackson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Jackson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jackson tries for a takedown but War manages to get underhooks.
War goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jackson prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson tries to land a knee to the head but War blocks with his arms.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jackson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. War is trying to keep an underhook but Jackson manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and War moves out of range easily.
Desean Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but War circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson misses with a takedown

and War counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson!

Jackson wants to control but War is having none of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Desean Jackson will probably get the nod.

Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jackson drops down looking for an ankle pick but War pulls his leg out and moves away.
