Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wille Willedum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petur Ludvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wille Willedum has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wille Willedum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Petur Ludvik!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludvik moves out of range of the body kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Willedum scores with a four punch combination!
Ludvik pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Willedum closes the distance and clinches up with Ludvik, looking for a takedown. Willedum pushes Ludvik against the cage but Ludvik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Willedum really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ludvik connects with a high kick.
Willedum tries for a takedown but Ludvik sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ludvik drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ludvik tries to score with some ground and pound. Willedum controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Ludvik controls the position.
Willedum pushes Ludvik away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ludvik gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Ludvik takes a little break here. Willedum wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Willedum tries to escape but Ludvik is in control.
Ludvik misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Willedum wants to get back to his feet.
Ludvik is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Ludvik just content to control the position.
It looks like Ludvik might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Ludvik looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Willedum is avoiding damage well.
Willedum tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Willedum tries to improve position but can't.
Willedum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ludvik misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Ludvik moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
No luck for Willedum with that takedown attempt.

Ludvik clinches up against the cage.
Ludvik lands with a left to the head.
Ludvik taking a breather.
Ludvik has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Willedum avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Willedum shoots in looking for a takedown but Ludvik manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Willedum's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Willedum shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ludvik defends it nicely.
Willedum is breathing heavily.
Ludvik tries to score a power double leg takedown but Willedum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ludvik somewhat.

Ludvik has managed to clinch.
Willedum is pressed up against the cage. Ludvik has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Willedum down to the mat. Willedum avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Willedum shoots in for a takedown but Ludvik shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Ludvik counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ludvik.
A short body shot lands from Ludvik as the two fighters clinch.

Willedum is pressed up against the cage. Ludvik has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Willedum down to the mat. Willedum avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ludvik throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Willedum's waist but Willedum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ludvik off to one side.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Ludvik.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Willedum works over Ludvik's head and body with a nice combination.
Willedum moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ludvik lands with a kick to the ribs.
Ludvik leaves Willedum with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ludvik manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Willedum manages to get himself to full guard.


Ludvik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Willedum has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ludvik has managed to get both his arms back between Willedum's legs - danger averted.
Ludvik is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Ludvik has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ludvik is pushing down on Willedum's leg trying to pass to half guard. Willedum is fighting to maintain full guard but Ludvik has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Willedum is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ludvik working the ground and pound but Willedum is defending the strikes.
Ludvik throws an elbow but Willedum slips to the side and avoids it well.

Ludvik decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ludvik wants to sweep but no luck.

Ludvik wriggles free and stands up.
No joy there for Ludvik, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petur Ludvik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Wille Willedum is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Willedum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ludvik but Ludvik pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ludvik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ludvik has closed the distance and engaged Willedum in a clinch.
Ludvik has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Willedum avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Willedum drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ludvik dives on top into guard.

Willedum had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ludvik defends it easily.

Ludvik slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Willedum tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ludvik wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ludvik throws a strike aimed at the side of Willedum's head but Willedum avoids it well.

The strikes coming from Ludvik are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The referee asks Ludvik politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ludvik prefers to stall for the moment though.

Willedum stops Ludvik from passing to mount.
A lull in the action here as Ludvik stalls from top position.

Ludvik's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Ludvik rushes Willedum and presses him up against the cage.

Ludvik has Willedum pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ludvik pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Willedum tumbling to the mat - Ludvik dives into Willedum's guard.
Petur Ludvik has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ludvik in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Ludvik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Willedum swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ludvik pushes down on Willedum's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ludvik working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Willedum's thigh. Willedum counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Ludvik postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wille Willedum has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Petur Ludvik is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ludvik decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Willedum, up you get!

Petur Ludvik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ludvik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Petur Ludvik rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
