The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coffey slips a jab from Mcguire.
Coffey throws a sloppy head kick and Mcguire moves out of range easily.

Coffey attempts a counter takedown but Mcguire avoids it well and moves away.

Mcguire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coffey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mcguire looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Coffey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcguire lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Coffey shoots in and bounces Mcguire off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Coffey creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mcguire sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Coffey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
