Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bogdon Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stari Starac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haze comes into the arena with Mother blaring out of the sound system. Starac has chosen The Last Waltz as his entrance music. Bogdon Haze has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starac shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haze pinned against the cage. Haze gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bogdon Haze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stari Starac.

Haze fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Starac manages to avoid it.

Haze lands a really nice looking cross but Starac seems unphased.

Haze is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Starac's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Starac's back!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Haze looking to break Starac's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Starac remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Haze will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haze gets his hands free as Starac looks to control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Haze is trying to stick to Starac's back but Starac is turning into Haze. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Haze's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Starac.

Starac postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Haze is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Starac, into his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Starac had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Haze is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Starac Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Haze's back instead.

Starac has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Haze rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Haze is looking to control Starac's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Haze avoid being mounted?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Starac tries to pass the half guard into mount. Haze knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Starac throwing shots but Haze is blocking nicely.
Starac has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Haze keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Starac misses with a takedown attempt - Haze sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Starac shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Haze has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Starac is working away from the top position though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Starac has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Haze defend it? Starac steps over the head and cranks it - Haze is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Starac!
