Bermio comes into the arena with Cowboys from Hell blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Nunoy Bermio has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bermio closes this distance looking for a takedown but Deal circles away.
Deal stuffs the takedown.
Bermio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bermio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Deal pinned against the cage. Deal gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nunoy Bermio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bermio shoots in for a double leg but Deal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Deal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bermio swivels and escapes.
Bermio doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Deal counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bermio!
Deal with shots to the head and body - Bermio looks very uncomfortable down there.

Deal goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bermio is on top in guard.
Bermio won't allow Deal to sweep him here.

Deal is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Bermio frees his head nicely. Oh but Deal has switched to an armbar! Bermio is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
