PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lenzie Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Torres might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to SWC by Murs. Jackson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Go Hard. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.
Torres shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well.
Jackson stuns Torres with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Jackson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Torres, pushing him back against the cage.
Jackson can't get the takedown.
Torres unloads a knee to the mid-section. Jackson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Jackson tightens his grip and picks Torres up, before dumping him to the ground. Torres manages to land in guard.

Torres looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson is trying to drag Torres to the mat but Torres just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Torres is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jackson can't fight it off and eventually Torres manages to take the fight to the floor. Jackson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Torres counters with an inside leg kick.

Jackson goes for a takedown attempt but Torres pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Torres shoots in and bounces Jackson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
