Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Terrance Bronie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harley George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronie's entrance music is Mankind. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bronie shoots in and drives through. George sprawls well.
George drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

George throws a strike but Bronie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

George really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bronie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
George is looking for a sweep. Bronie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bronie tries to close the distance and clinch up but George swats him away and circles back towards the center.
George dives in and grabs Bronie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bronie pushes down on George's head and hops out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Harley George will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bronie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. George looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
George tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bronie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if George can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bronie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nicholas Terrance Bronie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
George regains half guard.
Bronie wants to lay and pray for a moment but George keeps working.
George regains full guard. Nicely done.
George is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bronie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

George looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bronie is one step ahead there.
Bronie passes George's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bronie wants to control but George is keeping him busy.
George is pressing down on Bronie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
George bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bronie's guard.
Bronie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. George doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. George manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bronie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. George defends it easily.
George trying to control but Bronie is working from the bottom.
George scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
George must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bronie looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but George puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

George takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. George connects with a nice short shot to Bronie's temple.
Bronie is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
George looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bronie with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oh Bronie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
George slows the pace down in half guard.
George scores with a big shot! Bronie's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bronie! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
