The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CC closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
CC is trying to work for a kimura but Bonifacio is defending well.

CC is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bonifacio is just riding it out for now. CC eventually gives up the hold.
