And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Gogh bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Van Gogh seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Chung changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Van Gogh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chung working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chung tries for a kimura but Van Gogh is defending well.
Van Gogh manages to get back to half guard.
Chung wants to work for an arm triangle but Van Gogh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Van Gogh is looking to control Chung's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Van Gogh avoid being mounted?
Van Gogh makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Van Gogh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Gogh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chung drops back, looking for a kneebar! Van Gogh looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Van Gogh looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Van Gogh!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chung manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Chung is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Van Gogh pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Van Gogh seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Van Gogh connects with a nice short shot to Chung's temple.
Chung is rocked!
Van Gogh scores with a big shot! Chung's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Chung! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pierre Van Gogh!
As Pierre Van Gogh got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Whether I get it or not; I'm looking for the finish. I will always try and bring excitement to my fights. '.
