Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Templeton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Templeton comes to the cage accompanied by Trap Ball. Musashi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sword of the Stranger - Mukoh Hadan. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ryu Musashi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Templeton throws a front kick aimed at Musashi's knee but Musashi avoids it well.
Musashi throws out a powerful jab.
Templeton throws a quick inside leg kick.
Musashi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Musashi there as he acknowledges the shot.
Musashi moves to clinch but Templeton breaks away
and Templeton counters with a straight right hand.
Musashi throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Templeton defending well as Musashi loads up on a big left hand.
Musashi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Templeton momentarily.
Musashi lands with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Musashi lands with a hook. Templeton tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Templeton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Musashi can pounce on him.
Templeton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Musashi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Templeton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Musashi scores with a kick to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Musashi tries for a takedown but Templeton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Templeton appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Musashi is looking to slow Templeton down with leg kicks.
Musashi throws a lazy uppercut
and Templeton counters with a nice uppercut.
Templeton lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Musashi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Musashi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Templeton. That did some damage!
Templeton drops Musashi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Musashi looks back up at him and smiles so Templeton waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Musashi is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Musashi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Templeton counters with a huge left! Musashi is in big trouble! He's backing up but Templeton isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Musashi from any more damage. A dominating finish by Templeton!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Templeton!
