The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunno moves out of range of the body kick.
Walsh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dunno closes the distance but Walsh moves to the side

and Walsh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Dunno working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Walsh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Walsh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dunno or perhaps it was just good defense by Walsh, which made it look bad.

Walsh throws a lazy right hand but Dunno sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dunno shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Walsh defends it nicely.
Walsh tries to counter by clinching up but Dunno breaks away and moves out of range.

Dunno bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dunno looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Walsh quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

As Dunno tries to get set, Walsh tries to push him back and clinch up but Dunno manages to avoid the attempt.

Dunno throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walsh's waist but Walsh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dunno off to one side.

Walsh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dunno 's guard.

Walsh is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Walsh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dunno wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Walsh is now in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Walsh connects with a nice short shot to Dunno 's temple.
Jade Dunno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Frank Walsh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Walsh.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Walsh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
