Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 83 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Goran Schwarzeneg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takashi Kadota!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schwarzeneg has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kadota leaning against his opponent.
Kadota is pressed up against the cage. Schwarzeneg has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kadota down to the mat. Kadota avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Schwarzeneg lands with a hook. Kadota tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Kadota drives through with a takedown into Schwarzeneg's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Kadota loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kadota postures up in Schwarzeneg's guard and throws a big left but Schwarzeneg blocks it.

Kadota postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kadota is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kadota passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Schwarzeneg is looking to regain half guard here but Kadota keeps moving and retains side control.

Kadota working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schwarzeneg gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Ground and pound from Kadota.
Kadota throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Schwarzeneg avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kadota.
Kadota is trying to control. Schwarzeneg wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Schwarzeneg wants to improve his position but Kadota is controlling well.
Schwarzeneg throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Kadota is taking a breather. Schwarzeneg says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kadota takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kadota wants to pass to mount but Schwarzeneg is defending the position.
Schwarzeneg is not content to let Kadota control the position.

Schwarzeneg taking some punishment here, with Kadota in his half guard.
Kadota keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Kadota has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kadota lands with some strikes.
Schwarzeneg is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kadota raining down hammerfists from mount.
Kadota landing strikes from the mount and Schwarzeneg is in trouble!
The referee warns Schwarzeneg that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Schwarzeneg is squirming around, avoiding Kadota's attempts to control the action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kadota lands a couple of good shots and Schwarzeneg has given up his back, trying to escape the position!


Schwarzeneg is rocked!
Kadota is not going to allow Schwarzeneg to sit and survive in this position.
Can Schwarzeneg hold on?! Kadota is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Oh Schwarzeneg is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kadota is riding his opponent, not letting Schwarzeneg buck him off.
Schwarzeneg seems to have got his legs back now.
Kadota lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Kadota.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Takashi Kadota dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Kadota cracks Schwarzeneg with a hook to the temple - Schwarzeneg is on wobbly legs here! Kadota swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Schwarzeneg falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Kadota wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Takashi Kadota!
Takashi Kadota was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
