Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joey McKee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richards is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kittie - Johnny. Pierre Richards is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKee avoids the head kick by Richards.

Richards has closed the distance and engaged McKee in a clinch.

McKee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Richards's waist but Richards gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McKee off to one side.

Richards has hold of McKee's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McKee manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Richards manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McKee manages to get himself to full guard.

McKee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Richards gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McKee misses with a takedown

and Richards decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McKee's guard.

McKee has his foot on Richards's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Richards works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Richards is landing with some decent strikes but McKee is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
McKee is desperately trying to improve his position but Richards has a good base and remains in mount.

Richards wants to control but McKee is keeping him busy.
Richards thows a huge punch but McKee dodges it nicely.
McKee moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

McKee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Richards gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McKee had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Richards is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McKee Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Richards's back instead.

McKee has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Richards is defending well but eventually McKee manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Richards has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
