The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Bryant.
Bryant is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rutten.
And Rutten responds with a good body kick, but Bryant manages to step out the way in time.
Bryant shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
As Bryant backs off Rutten throws a huge counter combo but Bryant manages to avoid it all.
Bryant misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've been hearing reports that Bryant has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Rutten scores with a spinning back kick!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rutten ducks under a wild hook from Bryant.
Rutten displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bryant throws out the jab.

Rutten connects with a leg kick. Bryant looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Sebastiaan Rutten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rutten throws out a counter right but Bryant avoids it with no problem.

enabling Bryant to counter with a crisp jab.
Bryant throws a shot to the body.
Bryant smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bryant fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Rutten square on the jaw! Damn, Rutten is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
