Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chang Stuart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Indigio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Indigio has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Chang Stuart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Indigio!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuart takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Chang Stuart has been cut.
No joy there for Indigio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stuart displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Indigio.
Indigio scores with a kick to the midsection.

Indigio moves into the clinch successfully.
Stuart tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Indigio just stands there and leans against the cage.

Indigio decides to pull guard.
Indigio is pulling down on Stuart's head. It's preventing any offense from Stuart, at least for the moment.
Indigio working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stuart.

Indigio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Indigio seems keen to control Stuart's posture.

Indigio is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Indigio tries for a takedown but Stuart manages to get underhooks.
Stuart is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Indigio's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Indigio shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stuart sprawls well. Stuart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Indigio gets slowly back to his feet.
A little feinted left hand from Stuart on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Chang Stuart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Indigio.

Indigio misses with a takedown
and Stuart counters with a body kick.
Indigio throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stuart's waist but Stuart gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Indigio off to one side.
Stuart looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Indigio is fending him off so far but Stuart persists. Nope, Indigio circles away and we're back to standing.
Stuart misses with a takedown attempt - Indigio sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stuart is breathing heavily.

Indigio closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Stuart prevents a takedown attempt there.
Indigio has Stuart pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stuart manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Stuart manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Indigio tries to free his leg and advance position but Stuart is retaining full guard.
Indigio slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Indigio wants to stand and escape but instead Stuart has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Indigio looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Indigio has his feet on Stuart's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Indigio fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
As Indigio looks to move away, Stuart throws a big counter combo but Indigio just gets out of the way.
Bill Indigio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Stuart wants to clinch.

Horrible takedown attempt by Indigio or perhaps it was just good defense by Stuart, which made it look bad.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stuart tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Indigio just stands there and leans against the cage.

Indigio drags the fight down to the ground.
Stuart throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Indigio is looking to stand up but Stuart isn't so interested in that idea.

Stuart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Indigio tries to strike from the bottom.
Indigio has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Indigio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stuart, pushing him back against the cage.

Chang Stuart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Indigio.

Indigio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stuart shoots in for a takedown but Indigio shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stuart rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Indigio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stuart stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stuart wants it to stay on the feet.
Indigio is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stuart sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Stuart shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Indigio as he avoids it easily.
Stuart throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Indigio's waist but Indigio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stuart off to one side.

Stuart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Indigio throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

A close second round but Bill Indigio will probably get the nod - 10:9.

That's time! Stuart's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Stuart is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Indigio is defending well.

Indigio kicks Stuart off and gets to his feet.

Stuart tries to keep at a distance but Indigio has taken the fight into the clinch.
Stuart gets underhooks to prevent Indigio's takedown attempt.

Indigio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stuart tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Indigio defends well and Stuart ends up having to push Indigio into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chang Stuart. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Indigio has taken the fight to the clinch.
Indigio is trying to drag Stuart to the mat but Stuart just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Indigio gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stuart.

Indigio jumps guard and drags Stuart to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bill Indigio has got the better of the ground game so far.

Indigio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stuart doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stuart manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Stuart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Indigio works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Indigio looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Stuart gets to his feet. Indigio looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Stuart misses with a takedown attempt - Indigio sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Indigio is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Indigio shoots in looking for a takedown but Stuart manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Indigio's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Stuart looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Indigio is fending him off so far but Stuart persists. Nope, Indigio circles away and we're back to standing.
Bill Indigio seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Indigio looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Stuart throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Indigio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Indigio throws a strike but Stuart rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Stuart stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Indigio tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stuart seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Indigio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stuart but Stuart pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chang Stuart has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bill Indigio is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Indigio tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stuart swivels and escapes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bill Indigio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Indigio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
