Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doyle Shaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Orosco!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Orosco. Shaw shrugs it off though.
Nice defenses there by Orosco.
Orosco throws a counter combo.
Shaw misses with a head kick.
Shaw loads up on a big right hand but Orosco slips the punch.
Orosco wants to counter with a clinch but Shaw pushes him away.

Orosco throws out a head kick that Shaw doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Shaw crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Shaw's eyes and has decided to let it go on!


It looks like Doyle Shaw has been cut.
Shaw loads up on a big right hand but Orosco slips the punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Orosco avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shaw is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Orosco.
Despite the aggression on Orosco's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Shaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Shaw backs off Orosco throws a huge counter combo but Shaw manages to avoid it all.
Orosco connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shaw. Shaw circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Orosco has closed the distance and engaged Shaw in a clinch.
Orosco's coach down at $1000 Crouching Stoner Hidden Ground Game was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Orosco's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Orosco creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Orosco makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Billy Orosco should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A slapping leg kick lands for Orosco.

and Orosco counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Orosco closes the distance and pushes Shaw back into the ropes.

Orosco is controlling Shaw's neck. Orosco unleashes a big knee up the middle! And another! Shaw goes down! Can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6... he's not going to make it! 9,10. It's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Billy Orosco!
