The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTaggart throws a leg kick but Calderwood checks it.
Calderwood tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. McTaggart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

McTaggart seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Calderwood tries to close the distance and clinch but McTaggart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McTaggart appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
McTaggart with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Calderwood to score with a decent uppercut.

Calderwood has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Calderwood has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops McTaggart to the canvas! Can McTaggart beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's waved off the fight! He didn't think McTaggart was in a fit state to continue so this fight is over! Calderwood is your winner!
