Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Hammond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Pindle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jamie Hammond has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jamie Hammond seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pindle misses with an uppercut.

Hammond darts in and clinches Pindle up against the cage.

Hammond really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pindle swings wildly with an uppercut but Hammond uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pindle wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Pindle has Hammond pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hammond manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Hammond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pindle has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hammond is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pindle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hammond sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pindle somewhat.
It looked like Hammond wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Hammond tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pindle paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Pindle counters with a takedown into side control.

It looks like Paddy Pindle has been cut.

Hammond is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pindle is keeping busy.

Hammond breaks the clinch.

Hammond tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pindle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pindle throws a right hand that misses
and Hammond counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Hammond fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hammond tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pindle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pindle moves to clinch but Hammond breaks away
and Hammond counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Pindle to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Hammond!
