Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nes Gratsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martial Arts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gratsch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is i feel good. Martial Arts has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nes Gratsch's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gratsch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Arts has his foot on Gratsch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gratsch works his way back into a safe position though.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Arts is on top in guard.
Arts works over Gratsch with some ground and pound from guard.

Arts drops back looking for a leg! Gratsch is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gratsch manages to kick Arts off! Arts jumps back into Gratsch's guard.

Gratsch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Arts can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Arts accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Arts stands up and waves to Gratsch to follow him.

Gratsch gets caught flat footed, as Arts shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Gratsch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Arts looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Gratsch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Arts is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arts manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Arts tries to roll over but Gratsch keeps him under control.

Gratsch seems to be working for a kimura but Arts defends the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Nes Gratsch will probably get the nod.
That's time! Gratsch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gratsch is pressing down on Arts's thigh, looking to free his foot. Arts is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Arts is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gratsch pulls his head out easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gratsch connects with a nice short shot to Arts's temple.

Gratsch stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Arts to get to his feet.
Nice combo by Gratsch! Oh, that's hurt him - Arts falls to the canvas and Gratsch follows him into side control.

It looks like Martial Arts has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gratsch is putting a hurting on Arts here, landing some big shots from side control.
Arts tries to buck Gratsch off but Gratsch is having none of it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Arts misses with the combination.
Arts looks to land a body kick but Gratsch moved away.
Arts takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gratsch drops Arts with a left right combo! Gratsch follows him down to the ground into side control.

Arts is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gratsch tries for a kimura but Arts is defending well.
Gratsch scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Arts to see if he's OK.
Arts is trying to improve his position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Arts struggling a bit here.

Gratsch is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Arts has escaped the position, nice work there.

Gratsch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nes Gratsch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Gratsch is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Arts can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gratsch is landing with some decent strikes but Arts is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
