Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenichi Yamato!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yamato fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wiley is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Yamato.

Wiley looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Yamato!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Wiley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yamato knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wiley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yamato knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Yamato tries to escape but Wiley is in control.
Wiley works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Wiley lands a nice forearm strike.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Wiley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wiley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cyrus Wiley dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Wiley avoids the head kick by Yamato.
Wiley appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Yamato throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Cyrus Wiley has been cut.
Yamato throws an overhand right that has Wiley reeling! Yamato follows up with more punches and Wiley is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kenichi Yamato!
A very excited looking Kenichi Yamato made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
