The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Belle throws a hook but Alis avoids it easily.
Alis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Belle.
Beaumont Belle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alis changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Alis cracks Belle with a solid left hand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Alis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Belle's guard.
Belle on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Alis is looking to take a break and control but Belle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Alis drops an elbow to the side of Belle's head.
Alis works his way into full mount!
Belle takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Alis's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
