Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Temel Dilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lu Hao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Dilli.
Dilli throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dilli looks to land a right hand but Hao moved out of range.
Hao now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Dilli lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hao's sensitive parts.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hao has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hao is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dilli has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dilli!

Hao is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
