The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake just misses with a punch to the body.
Ballesteros scores with a leg kick.
Blake throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ballesteros wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Ballesteros connects with a nice looking jab.
Ballesteros shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blake defends it nicely.
Blake changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A punch combination from Blake misses.
Ballesteros stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ballesteros thumps Blake with a low kick.
Ballesteros lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ballesteros fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Blake.
Ballesteros turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Ballesteros feints and as Blake raises his hands in defense, Ballesteros changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ballesteros stands up over Blake, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Blake looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ballesteros puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Blake wants to control but Ballesteros is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Ballesteros is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Ballesteros winds up and cracks Blake with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Blake has hold of Ballesteros's hands but Ballesteros slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Blake is looking for a sweep. Ballesteros is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ballesteros working over Blake with some ground and pound. Blake looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Ballesteros prevents Blake from improving his position.
Ballesteros slips a nice elbow through Blake's hands, connecting with Blake's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ballesteros is trying for a kimura here. Blake looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Ballesteros wins by kimura!
