The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jokic moves into the clinch.
Jokic tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Alis avoids it.
Jokic misses with some punches.

Alis works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Alis advances to half guard.
Alis moves nicely into side control.
Alis in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Alis scores with punches from side control.
Alis cracks Jokic with a big right hand but Jokic just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jokic wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Alis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Jokic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alis on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Alis crunches a massive hammerfist down on Jokic - he's out! Alis Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
