Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terry Mcneil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Cracker!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cracker closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcneil quickly recovers to half guard.
Cracker wants to control but Mcneil is keeping him busy.
Cracker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Mcneil trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Cracker manages to pass to mount!
Cracker content just to control the position here.
Cracker with shots to the head and body - Mcneil looks very uncomfortable down there.
Mcneil is looking to get to half guard.
Mcneil is squirming around, avoiding Cracker's attempts to control the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cracker controlling from mount.
Mcneil tries to hold on but Cracker pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcneil is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Mcneil wants to control but Cracker is having none of it.
Mcneil is in all sorts of trouble here.

Cracker controlling from the full mount.
Cracker thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Mcneil is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mcneil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cracker on the ground.

Cracker prevents Mcneil from getting the reversal.
Cracker looking to control but Mcneil is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Cracker stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Cracker closes the distance and clinches.

Mcneil breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cracker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcneil, pushing him back against the cage.

Cracker drags the fight down to the ground.
Cracker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcneil is one step ahead there.

Cracker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cracker looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Mcneil stopping the sweep attempt from Cracker.
Mcneil with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cracker wants to sweep but no luck.

Mcneil stands up from Cracker's guard - Mcneil perhaps looking for a knockout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mcneil has closed the distance and engaged Cracker in a clinch.
Mcneil is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cracker is defending well for now.
Mcneil prevents Cracker from breaking the clinch.

Cracker decides to pull guard.
Cracker is trying to keep Mcneil in close.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cracker is pulling down on Mcneil's head. It's preventing any offense from Mcneil, at least for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cracker throws a sloppy head kick
and Mcneil counters with a low kick, right behind Cracker 's knee.

Cracker drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mcneil defends it well.

Cracker is looking to break free of the clinch but Mcneil has double underhooks.

Cracker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mcneil can't fight it off and eventually Cracker manages to take the fight to the floor. Mcneil looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cracker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mcneil's guard.

Mcneil is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cracker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cracker's back!
Cracker rolls, trying to escape but Mcneil keeps control of the position.
Mcneil connects with a big shot to the side of Cracker's head.
Cracker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cracker is really stuck here.
Mcneil doesn't have the hooks in and Cracker manages to turn into his guard.
Mcneil looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cracker is one step ahead there.
Cracker looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Mcneil is controlling Cracker's posture.

Mcneil is looking to stand up but Cracker isn't so interested in that idea.
Mcneil trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Cracker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Cracker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Mcneil is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cracker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mcneil is working away from the top position though.

Mcneil looking to sit in guard and control but Cracker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mcneil keeping moving, preventing Cracker from controlling successfully.

Cracker passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Cracker content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Mcneil stops Cracker from passing to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Cracker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

As Cracker looks to move away, Mcneil throws a big counter combo but Cracker just gets out of the way.

Cracker has picked Mcneil up - he's going for a ride! Cracker dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Cracker is thwarting Mcneil's attempts to control the position.
Mcneil is not content to let Cracker control the position.

Mcneil is trying to get back to full guard.

Cracker seems to be looking for submissions.
Cracker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcneil knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
