The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers lunges at Love with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Love's hand.
Myers throws the left hand but Love avoids the punch easily.
Myers has been working on his boxing with his coaches at City of Angels Fight Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Mister Love seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myers throws a chopping leg kick but Love manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Myers gets tackled into the cage by Love. Love maintains the clinch.

Myers stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Love.
Love blocks a low kick nicely.
A little jabbing left from Love on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Myers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Love was well out of range. Poor timing from Myers.
Love wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Myers does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Love takes the fight into the clinch.
Myers wants to take the fight to the mat but Love manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Myers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Myers misses with a few strikes there.
