Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keenan Rosales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keenan Rosales!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Teller!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Teller closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rosales quickly recovers to half guard.
Teller stops Rosales from getting back to his feet.
Teller sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Teller throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Rosales to regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rosales utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rosales looking to hit a scissor sweep but Teller is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teller's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Teller trying to control the position from guard on top but Rosales is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Teller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Teller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Teller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rosales clinches.
Rosales looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rosales takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Rosales is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Teller is keeping busy.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Teller manages to break the clinch.

Teller moves to clinch but Rosales breaks away
and Rosales makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rosales tries for a takedown but Teller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Teller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rosales did well to prevent Teller getting side control.
Still in half guard, Teller seems content to control.
Rosales desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Teller takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Teller stalling away here and it's allowed Rosales to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Teller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Teller looking to sit in guard and control but Rosales gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Teller can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rosales prevents Teller from getting back to his feet.
Teller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Teller is working an open guard so Rosales takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Teller shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rosales napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Rosales throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Teller scores with a push kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rosales gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Teller to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Rosales has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Teller off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rosales.

Rosales decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Rosales scores with a takedown into Teller's guard.

Teller wriggles free and stands up.
Rosales shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Teller sprawls well. Teller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rosales gets slowly back to his feet.
Teller feints the counter takedown.
Rosales chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Teller can pounce on him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rosales tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Teller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rosales takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Teller decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Rosales pushes Teller off and gets back to his feet.
Teller is breathing heavily.

Teller is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rosales's half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rosales manages to get to full guard.
Teller is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Rosales pulls Teller in close to prevent any damage.
Rosales has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Teller trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Rosales manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Rosales is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Teller has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rosales is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Teller.
Teller tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Rosales easily slips into full mount!

Rosales is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Teller is looking to clinch.
Rosales throws a quick counter kick to the body but Teller avoids it.

Rosales has Teller up against the cage in a clinch.

Teller gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Rosales kicks Teller off and gets back to his feet.

Teller gets caught flat footed, as Rosales shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Teller is looking to stand back up but Rosales counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Teller.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Teller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Teller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rosales's guard.

Rosales wriggles free and stands up.

Teller wants to get back to his feet but Rosales is dominant here and he's now got Teller's back!
Rosales is riding his opponent, not letting Teller buck him off.
Teller trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Rosales just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Rosales.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Keenan Rosales overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Roy Teller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Keenan Rosales is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rosales, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
