Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tat Moh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Brown!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moh throws a head kick but Brown moves out of range.
Moh moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off.
Brown raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Moh blocks a head kick by Brown.
Moh moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Moh drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Brown is looking to sweep but instead, Moh has passed into half guard.
Moh missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Moh tries to pass to full mount but Brown defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Moh lands a nice short elbow.
Brown is looking to improve his position.
Brown is staying active underneath Moh, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Moh is trying to control the action in half guard but Brown is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Moh throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Moh is looking to work some ground and pound but Brown has wrist control.

Moh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!

You can see the frustration on Moh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've been hearing good reports from Moh's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Moh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brown looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Moh swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.

It looks like John Brown has been cut.
Moh is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tat Moh dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Brown lands a jab to the nose.


It looks like Tat Moh has been cut.
Brown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Moh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Moh showed some decent athleticism there.
Tat Moh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Moh is keen to just control but Brown is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moh winds up and cracks Brown with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
