Nana pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has St Pierre pinned against the cage. St Pierre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Prince Nana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

St Pierre closes the distance and pushes Nana back into the cage.
Nana wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but St Pierre has him pressed against the cage.
Nana tries to pull guard but St Pierre won't allow it.
St Pierre misses with a knee to the head.
Nana wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
St Pierre gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Prince Nana has been cut.
St Pierre lands a nice knee to the body.

St Pierre's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

St Pierre has Nana up against the cage in a clinch.
Nana wants to break free but St Pierre has control.
St Pierre tries to land a knee to the head but Nana blocks with his arms.

St Pierre escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nana takes a swing at St Pierre's ribcage but misses.
St Pierre throws a sloppy head kick and Nana moves out of range easily.
Nana wants to clinch but St Pierre slips to the side
and St Pierre counters with a slapping leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for St Pierre.
Nana looks gassed!

St Pierre throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nana clinches but St Pierre breaks the clinch
and St Pierre counters with a thumping low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That has opened up Prince Nana's cut even more.

St Pierre looks to land a combination but Nana avoids it well.

St Pierre fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nana, pushing him back against the cage.

St Pierre lands an elbow that stopped Nana in his tracks for a moment.

The cut above Prince Nana's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
St Pierre comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
St Pierre stalls.

St Pierre breaks from the clinch.
Nana fails to land with a series of punches.
A head kick lands from St Pierre that sends Nana to the canvas. Nana tries to scramble back to his feet but St Pierre brings him back down into side control.

Nana is rocked!

St Pierre is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nana is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

St Pierre stands up and we're back to a striking position.
St Pierre connects with the punch.

Prince Nana's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Prince Nana's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
