Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between No Oha Se Varma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Tokoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tokoro's choice of entrance music: Boomtastic. Hideo Tokoro is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varma misses with a straight left.
No Oha Se Varma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Varma closes the distance and clinches.
Tokoro tries to score a body lock takedown but Varma shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Tokoro drops down looking for an ankle pick but Varma pulls his leg out and moves away.

Varma takes the fight into the clinch.
Tokoro blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Tokoro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Varma fights it off and pushes away nicely.
No Oha Se Varma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hideo Tokoro.

Tokoro gets tackled into the cage by Varma. Varma maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tokoro wants to free his trapped foot but Varma is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
