The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irhin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Irhin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Irhin tries to clinch up.
Norton needs to keep his hands up - Irhin had a free shot at his head there.
Norton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
It looked like Norton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Irhin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Artem Irhin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Irhin tries to clinch there but Norton circles away.

Irhin takes the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Irhin misses with a knee to the head.

Irhin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Norton's elbow.

Norton works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Norton lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Irhin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Norton steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Irhin.
It looked like Norton was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Irhin.
Norton keeps the fight on the outside.
An attempted straight right counter from Norton misses the target.
Irhin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Norton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Norton does it's job there.

and Norton counters with a nice right hand that sends Irhin toppling to the canvas! Irhin scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Norton finish him?!

Scott Norton really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Zenith Nutrition (160q/225$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
