The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skallagrimmson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Skallagrimmson pushes Hard back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Skallagrimmson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Skallagrimmson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Skallagrimmson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hard manages to get himself to full guard.
Skallagrimmson advances to half guard.
Hard is looking for a sweep. Skallagrimmson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skallagrimmson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hard is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
